Simple and effective!

We had a great time helping our clients with their kitchen work station area and hallway cabinets. A few of the simple yet effective products we implemented I thought I’d share with all of you!

1) You’ve seen this from one of our previous posts, but having a “Put Away” basket is great for placing the little things you may not have time to put away right at the moment but will help avoid pile ups and cluttered areas (ie. Kitchen counters). It’s important to remember that if you do choose to implement this that you pick a dedicated day each week to “put away” those miscellaneous items in your basket. Pick up one of these baskets at your local Home Goods. I also added a cute label that can be found at Michaels.
2) Ever find you have a large stash of random batteries in your junk drawer but when you go looking for one, you can’t seem to find one you need so off to the store again you go?! These simple drawer organizers are a great solution for storing batteries of multiple sizes. Each drawer can contain a different size battery. And don’t forget to label! I picked one of these up at Walmart.
3) If you find you have a lot of keepsake files from your children’s school year, these sturdy bins from Target are great for containing those important papers while keeping them safe and nicely organized.
4) Do you have multiple household to-do lists floating around on random sticky notes or paper pads? Why not try hanging a simple white board inside a frequently used cabinet instead to keep daily important reminders for you and your loved ones…
Hope you are all having a great and productive week!
